The U.S. Department of Labor released the updated salary minimum requirements for salary-exempt employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act raising the minimum thresholds for overtime pay effective July 1, 2024. In addition, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission approved a final rule that bans most new noncompete agreements. Both of these changes could have a major impact on your business. Join us as our panelists discuss the potential implications of these rulings and what developments we may see in the coming weeks.
